Kandovan, a fascinating ancient village located in the East Azerbaijan province near Tabriz, Iran, is truly a sight to behold. This unique village has been in existence for at least 800 years and is home to 670 residents. Its breathtaking scenery makes it a popular destination for travelers seeking a one-of-a-kind experience.
The village of Kandovan is renowned for its unique homes carved into rocks, some of which are over 700 years old. It is believed that this village was formed in part by the remains of volcanic activity from a strong Mount Sahand eruption that took place several hundred years ago.

The captivating architecture of this village appears to defy all conventional rules, and visitors are typically entranced by its incredible slopes and unconventional paths.
